Crete is an amazing island and Villa Limani made our visit an unforgettable one. The breathtaking views ( sunsets)of Souda Bay and the white mountains made this Villa a place to be remembered. We have stayed in many villas before but V. Limani was outstanding it has all the amenities to make your visit a breeze. Rudy was a great host ( loved the welcome basket with key Cretan supplies), very attentive and helpful the few times we contacted him. Great location close to many beaches and sites, a car is a most preferably a 4*4 vehicle given that the access road to the Villa (~ 200mts) is rustic which also gives the Villa its privacy and remote feeling. The pool is a good size and the garden beautiful! I highly recommend Villa Limani for your next summer getaway!

We have hired villas in Crete for 15 years and Limani is by far the best villa we have stayed in. Fabulous location with views over countryside to Souda Bay and the White mountains. To say it is fully equipped is an understatement, full air conditioning, a pool you can actually swim in and the most helpful owners who are very willing to share their knowledge and love of Crete with you. Just perfect.

We spent 10 magical days at Villa Limani soaking up the sun and enjoying the amazing views of the sea and surrounding mountains - such a treat to wake up to in the morning. The villa is finished to a very high standard and is exactly what you see in the photos and more! The layout was perfect for us as we were a group of 5 - one couple had their own room and ensuite downstairs and upstairs the rooms have a sliding door which allowed us to connect the two rooms so our son didnt fret at night. It was wonderful to hangout by the pool all day, the watch the sunset whilst waiting for our BBQ dinner to be cooked. 

The little village nearby was charming and very welcoming. We had dinner at a nearby restaurant (Parasia) which served excellent Cretan food and honey raki! Beaches at Almyrida and Kalyves are only a 15-20mins drive away. A car is a must as the villa is located down a rustic country road (the only downside). But the peaceful and private location of the villa more than made up for this. 

Rudi and Nancy are the perfect hosts. They provided us with a welcome hamper and their communication was excellent throughout our stay. I would highly recommend a stay at the Villa Limani and hope to return again soon.
