We Rudi and Nancy, owners of Villa Maquis, allow us to introduce ourselves and share our story...

In preparation of our retirements we decided in 2015 to come to Crete and build our holiday house. We visited Greece and its island many times before during our holidays and we also lived and worked there about 2 years. Because of this link we decided to select the island of Crete.

In 2017 Villa Limani our first vacation villa in Crete (Litsarda) was finished and we moved in. In the years after that we both had the opportunity to stop working and we extended our stay here on Crete for about 6 month per year. July and August we decided to rent out and the remaining time we still live in Belgium.

Because we really relax in this amazing place and we feel very happy, we decided to build a bigger villa that offers all the luxury we have in Western Europe and that allows us to enjoy our well deserved pension.

In 2023 we moved in to Villa Maquis and we sold Villa Limani.

The Villa Maquis "LIFESTYLE".

With Villa Maquis, we wanted to do more than build a luxury villa, we wanted to create a "LIFESTYLE".  The villa provides all the modern luxury that people have in their homes, in now way this feels like a rental. 

The villa provides everything to enjoy the benefits of the Greek life, mountains, sea, views, nature, sun, fun, relaxing...

At villa Maquis, it is about creating memories, togetherness but also privacy, not everyone wants to socialize all day but also needs some time by himself.

We share our villa with guests during a limited time, so we can offer quality and exclusivity. This way we are able to share our happyness and we get a lot of appreciation back.
